Hello. I’m Theng Yen Chen, a UX/UI Designer. You can call me Yen for short.
Education
I graduated with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Digital Media from University of the West of England (UWE).
Prior to pursuing the degree, I have attained a Diploma in Design Communication from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore and have been a practising Designer since then.
Experience
With over 5 years of experience in the design industry has provided great knowledge in various design disciplines such as user experience design, interface design, strategic design, art direction, print and branding and filmmaking. Skilled in both print and digital media.
I am a IBM Design Thinking practitioner – conducted user research, participated and assisted in facilitating in design thinking workshop in both remote and physical environment. Design and built high-fidelity prototype for user research and testing.
Experienced in generating and maintaining an internal Style Guide for a client’s application to meet industry best practices and human-centered design principles aimed to create a seamless workflow between the development team and the design team.
Creating and maintaining a step-by-step User Guide for a client’s application for global stakeholders aimed to provide a smooth onboarding experience.
